Jeffrey Epstein acquired a more modest island - Little St James - back in the late 1990s, but acquired the larger adjacent island in 2016 for a sum of $22.5 million.
These photos reveal he had formulated development schemes to develop the substantial island by erecting living quarters, an amphitheatre, an underwater office and a reservoir.
Visible on the blueprint is a local waterway, a marine passage in the territory, noted on the lower right-hand corner.
This development map is marked up in red pen markings and includes a notes section detailing different parts of the land.
Alongside the main plan are what seem to be an additional nine construction diagrams and construction drawings, such as plans for boat shelters.
